Nuestro presidente Manuel Sendagorta y la vicecomodora Carmen Galdós acudieron la pasada semana el Royal Thames Yacht Club de Londres al Forum de ICOYC. Allí, le entregamos a su vicecomodoro Richard Powell una metopa por el 250º Aniversario del club londinense, una referencia en la promoción de la vela y cuna de grandes regatistas. Les deseamos los mejores vientos y les trasladamos nuestro agradecimiento por su labor de mostrarnos el camino a otros clubes más jóvenes.
El ingreso del RCMA-RSC en ICOYC (The International Council Of Yacht Clubs) se produjo el año pasado en Estocolmo. Por eso, hemos participado también en el 14º World Forum de este año 2025, celebrado entre el 26 y el 31 de mayo en el Royal Thames Yacht Club. Este Forum es una celebración para compartir la pasión por el mar.

The Club at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London for the ICOYC World Forum
Our President, Manuel Sendagorta, and Vice Commodore, Carmen Galdós, attended the ICOYC Forum at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London last week. On this occasion, we presented their Vice Commodore, Richard Powell, with a commemorative plaque in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the London club, a benchmark in the promotion of sailing and cradle of many great sailors. We wished them good winds ahead and we expressed our gratitude for the work they do in showing us the younger clubs the way.
The RCMA-RSC joined ICOYC (The International Council of Yacht Clubs) last year in Stockholm. For that reason, we also took part in the 14th World Forum held this year, 2025, from 26 to 31 May at the Royal Thames Yacht Club. This Forum is a celebration of our shared passion for the sea.
