Nicolás Bastard, Bruno Chávarri y Andrea Periotto subieron al podio, con Laura Angulo como primera clasificada femenina
El equipo de doce regatistas de la clase Optimist de la Escuela de Vela José Luis de Ugarte del Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting fue el más destacado en Hondarribia en el Trofeo Optimartxoa 2026, valedero para la Liga Vasca. Copó el podio con Nicolás Bastard -que reeditó el título-, Bruno Chávarri y Andrea Periotto, en la primera, segunda y tercera posición de Optimist G1. Martín Gezuraga acabó quinto y Andrea Criado sexto, con Laura Angulo como primera clasificada femenina después de los tres recorridos puntuables en aguas de la bahía de Higuer. Lola Criado, Telmo Usán, Jaime Arriola, Adela Penide, Marc Alexander González y Mariana Arriola contribuyeron también al éxito del equipo del Club de Las Arenas.
